REDDITCH United have signed full-back Macauley King after receiving international clearance to complete the deal.
The 29-year-old has spent the last decade playing his football in the United States of America, including six years in the USL Championship – the division below the MLS.
King began his career in Leicester City’s academy before moving to Young Harris College in America for college.
He moved to Indy Eleven in 2019 and later played for El Paso Locomotive and Colorado Springs Switchbacks.
King returned to Indy Eleven last season where he made 14 appearances and has since moved back home to England.
He becomes the second addition to Matt Clarke’s squad since Redditch’s last outing, following the arrival of Josh Endall on a one-month loan from Hednesford Town.
The full-back is available for selection for Redditch’s trip to Hitchin Town tonight (Tuesday, January 14, kick-off 7.45pm).
