REDDITCH United have confirmed the return of midfielder Jaiden White ahead of the start of the 2024/25 season.
White returns to the Valley Stadium following a spell with the Reds last season before spending the second half of the campaign with Ilkeston Town on dual registration.
The 22-year-old scored four goals in three appearances for Redditch in pre-season, playing as a trialist.
White said: “I’m buzzing to be back really, I’ve enjoyed pre-season, I’ve felt sharp and ready and I feel like my performances have reflected that.
“It’s a club that I know inside and out, when myself and Tim spoke we decided it was the best place for me to be this season.
“I feel I’ve been good so far, it’s always good to get off the mark early even if it is pre-season. I want to carry my form on into the season once it starts so I feel like I’ve done well, not just with the goals but as a whole too.
“I went out on a dual reg to Ilkeston last season because I needed to play and I enjoyed my time there. I don’t have anything to prove, I know the player I am, and the fans here do as well so I just need to play my games and I’ll be flying.”
Reds manager Tim Flowers added: “We’re delighted he’s coming back. It’s been a long process and we tried to get him on board straight away, but due to his agent and getting a trial at Kidderminster Harriers where he played a couple of games this pre-season, it’s been slightly delayed.
“He’s obviously played a bit for us and I’ve really liked him, he’s scored a few goals for us and I think he’ll be a big asset to us this season. He’s really good lad and I’ve always liked him, so I’m glad to have him with us. He’s a really good player and will play a big part for us moving forward.”
